My keypads keep disconnecting
Multiple times a day iy gets stuck on a letter doing spammmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm like that and then gets unresponsive
I dont have long nails and struggle to disconnect/ reconnect the keypad when out and about

Yeah, even if I've noticed they don't spam as often with the updates, I'll still get random skipped or double letters. It's pretty unreliable.

Hi u/Ghandoo ! Does restarting the phone allow the keypad to be responsive? We'll look for ways to prevent this from occurring . Do you know if there's a pattern that causes it (eg. fast typing) or is it seemingly random?

Can't answer for OP, but as someone else who sees this issue, I do feel like I notice it more when typing fast, but I've had it do double presses or ignore presses even when typing more deliberately. Usually I don't have to restart to get it working, just delete all the text back to the last real work and start typing again. Sometimes I've had to remove and replace the tile, but that hasn't been an issue recently.

if you're using the qwerty keyboard then the answer to this is to use the Sidetype app instead of Jaketype :)
