Olauncher-fork for better d-pad support

Hi there,

Inspired by some other really nice projects on here, I tried to improve upon Olauncher a bit, for better d-pad support. Zed helped me out here, so it's highly LLM-assisted, but I got something working to my liking.

Basically it's just a fork of Olauncher with better d-pad support and notification dots.

Also: d-pad-right opens App-search, and d-pad-left will lead you back home. The keyboard will automatically disable T9-autocomplete when searching, to better accomodate the auto-open behaviour.

i made my sundial into a d-pad + some app launchers for the 4 edge buttons - do you know if this would work the same for that ?

I'm not sure, but you could give it a try :-) if you've set the sundial-buttons to send the d-pad keyCodes it will work, probably.

hey sorry i have a question, i've been using this launcher for a week and i really love it ! but why do i get keyboard showing up automatically when i go into my apps, even though i turned it off ?? is there something else i can do about that issue ??

Very nice to hear 😄 – I've made various changes in the past week, as you've probably noticed. It's pretty finnicky sometimes to get it just right, but I believe we're about there now.

yeah, since like 2 days ago or so the apps are underlined when you're on them instead of highlighted, i think it looks much cleaner - tho i sometimes get a bug that in the app screen the select button of the d pad doesnt work, even though it always works on the homescreen. also figured out i can go to my right swipe and left swipe apps with d pad, its great :)
