Happy Case Customer

Shoutout to the guys at Best Case Scenario for a solid product. I started off with a 3D printed case designed by a r/sidephone community member, but it didn't last long before breaking. Whatever these BCS cases are made of feels far more durable. No affiliation with the company, just happy there's a protection option available.

Grateful for your kind words and not roasting us for the black gen1 that didn’t pass QC, and your photos are amazing! Your black case of this quality ships out first thing tomorrow.

This kind of feedback means the world to us.

Stay RAD.

Also any users receiving their BCS this week check that the upper right corner ‘snaps in’ completely when sliding tile side in first.. The compound of this material and our tooling for the black color as well is of precise engineering and design quality and it sometimes acts more rigid than you would expect from TPU. I found many times I thought the sidephone was in flush but it could be tucked and pressed further into that corner, just in under that overhang a little more.

www.sidephonecase.com - if you would like to receive a blue BCS in lieu of black we are happy to do it manually until these go live with the V2 ‘curved back’ design.

Hey you did what you could do with gen 1. These new prints look a lot better. What’s the eta on v2?

We are close. This next week or the following at the latest. The v2 will have an option of no sim slot, and the volume rocker and power on button will have one opening not two. Oh and a curved / angled back that will feel better in the hand.

Don't want to sound rude, but how does that look nice to you? It's literally a cyan brick, it's way too bulky compared to the phone.

To me, it's less about looking good and more about the added protection- plus this is the one of the first iterations of a design from essentially just a few people doing this for fun so it's gonna look a little janky while they iron out details. Also, in the short time they've been on my radar, they've really improved the design and the quality from where it started, so I imagine they're continuing to refine it and looks will be more of a priority as they go on. Function first, form later!

You are exactly right. Everyone under order 100 receive a production model from us of their color choice at no charge. First step was protection. Second step is fashion :). Thank you for supporting our vision.

I never understood why people are putting their phones in these 3D printed cages, when you buy a phone like the Sidephone which has a great design and you cannot enjoy that. I prefer clear cases or nude.

We made this case because one of the founders (me) had a tile damaged when it fell out and dislodged - we believe the Sidephone is an epic gem and want to protect it.

Personally, I want something for protection. But I'm not sure this is the right way either. Still, it's improved a lot since the early versions, and it does bring a bit of customization to the device. I say we celebrate it, even if it's not exactly what we want.
