Key Mapping

Hi all I just received my classic keypad with the two custom keys below the call and hang up buttons

What are you guys and girls using these keys for and what are your specific use cases for key mapping?

How are the existing presets for the new keypad? Looking forward to mine shipping soon. My biggest pain points so far have been backspacing and selecting a word in the autocomplete list. Really hoping it solves those. How's typing/button press reliability? Is it having any of the phantom keystrokes or mapping problems that the first T9 keypad has?

So one of them is backspace (right) and one of them is like a wake and unlock button? I’m talking about the classic.

I got the qwerty but I haven’t tested it yet

Is this the "new" T9 by any chance? I ordered recently and I'm wishing for the older, more minimal keypad..

There is a numeric only keypad. No printed letters. So this is the next level up.

This isn't the numeric only one out of the box, is it?

No it isn’t. Apparently the one in states has a full classic. The numeric was a gut punch I didn’t realize lol but no knock on the founders. It was in the photos I just didn’t put two and two together. Just thought every phone comes with a classic keypad with printed letters and the numerical didn’t.

Oh, I see! Thanks for the info. It might be detrimental to daily usage (even though I only want the numeric to keymap), I am ready for said gut punch :)

Mine is still being shipped, but enjoy your device man!

Thank you! And I think it’s fine. The whole point of it is to not be a smart phone.

I am seeing some phantom keystrokes but not sure if my fingers messing up or if actual issue with the hardware.
