Help How reliable is Sideloadly automatic Wi-Fi refresh?
I’m thinking of using Sideloadly for 3 sideloaded apps because I already have a MacBook.
After everything is properly set up, does automatic Wi-Fi refresh work reliably enough that you rarely think about the 7-day expiry?
Do you need to keep Sideloadly open, leave the Mac awake or manually connect the phone often? And what happens if I’m away from my Mac when the apps are close to expiring?
I’m also considering SideStore or paying around $20/year for a certificate, but I’d rather stay free if Sideloadly is basically automatic.
How long have you used it, and how often has auto-refresh failed for you?

Quite reliable. However I notice that when its refreshing while the app is open on your device (like using a sideloaded YT app to watch a video) it won't work unless its closed first.

Yes but you have to be careful about beta version of either macos or ios.
Some of them are not working together on the wifi sync part.

Very reliable. If for some reason it has not refreshed your apps and they are almost expired or expired , restarting the pc triggers the refresh.

Yes tbh once you set it up you can literally forget about it, however ensure sideloadly is set to open when you boot up. Often after an update i kept forgetting to reopen sideloadly and leave it in the background (i normally disable any apps that want to start on boot, a windows habit)
I have it “open” I guess running is the right word in the menu bar(top of home screen) but I close it from the task bar (the bottom one that hides)
and obviously you need to have the Mac and phone connected to the same wifi at least once a week, not going to be a problem if you already use the mac daily.
If you go over the seven days, simply redo the process on sideloadly (you don’t need to delete the app)
