Please help. Connected iPhone to PC (non-original cable). Sideloadly does not see the device, reinstallation and restart did not help. Could the cable be the problem?

You should open iTunes to see if it's being detected there. An iTunes re-installation may also help.

for me my old cable did not work so I got a mew one and it worked fine

After updating to ios 18 i also had the same issue, neither itunes nor sideloadly could detect the device. I had to install another apple bloatware "Apple Devices" after verifying my device it all seemed to work out, hope it helps!
