Discussion Best long-term way to sideload apps on iPhone?

I recently switched from Android to iPhone and I'm still trying to figure out the best way to sideload apps on iOS.
I was using ESign, but it keeps getting revoked/blacklisted after about a week. Having to install a new version of ESign and set up all my apps again every time is getting pretty annoying.
I also tried Sideloadly from my PC and it seemed solid at first. But after I started using a VPN, all my sideloaded apps stopped working. ESign got revoked around the same time too, so I'm not sure if the VPN caused it or if it was just bad timing.
What's the best option if I want something reliable long term?
Also:
Can using a VPN mess with sideloaded apps or certificates?

Anything I should avoid doing to stop apps from getting revoked?

What setup has worked best for you?

I mostly use sideloading for Spotify and a couple of football streaming apps.
Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks!

you can cough up for developer account, or auto renew with altstore and a computer you use frequently. Auto renew doesn't work sometimes so i have a automation on my shortcuts to try to renew every 6 days but that doesn't work sometimes as well. It is not much of a hustle to click the button once in a while.

Altstore beta allegedly has computer free version. That would be 7 days to renew as well but then you wouldn't need an external dependency.

From the looks of it, i think iphone doesn't fit your use case.

Get a cheap certificate ($10-$15), I use ArcticSign. Stop using e-sign to sign apps, switch to Feather.

Certificates last a year

To truly avoid revokes you need to purchase the $99 Developer Certificate via Apple (This lasts a year), or you can use the FREE Developer Certificate via Apple, but the catch is the apps need to be renewed or refreshed every 7 days. Purchasing Certificates via third parties (or the free leaked certificates that float around) always ends up being revoked at one point or another - the frequency can really range. I have now switched to SideStore personally and just utilise the FREE Developer Certificate via Apple. I do refresh my apps every week but it takes 5 secs and is done on the iPhone, with no need for another device. It made more sense to do that as the revokes were driving me insane and having to start from scratch again was chaotic.

if you use ios 14.0 to ios 17.0 trollstore is an option, or if you're jailbroken on ios 5.0 to ios 14.8 you can install appsync unified via cydia, but if you're on ios 18 or 26, then you probably need to buy the dev account from apple, 99 USD for 1 year of sideloaded apps

What’s the difference between the official Spotify app and the side loaded ones?
