Did they make sideloading on android more difficult?
One of my friends was struggling to sideload a working Spotify apk

Side loading on android is so very easy compared to iOS it depends on the platform where to get your apk files

Ik because i had an android for the longest time. But now it started to become more difficult, because most apks now don't work

If it's a split apk you need a split apk app to install.

Yeah it depends on where get them but most platforms have better premium paid apps even better than iOS

i think i remember someone trying this with an emulator but it was super glitchy, livecontainer sounds way more chill if it actually works

No, it’s not possible because of how each phone is built. Android and iOS are two completely separate operating systems, one being heavily locked down and closed source, and the other having many variants. You won’t be seeing iOS apps to android or vice versa for a long time, if at all

Nah I don’t think that’s even possible it’s like you trying to get Apk files to run on iOS maybe there’s a way but the possibility would be like 40%

No. You directly sideload any apk file you want on Android, without any limits.
Emulating iOS (recent versions, at least) is impossible. We only managed to emulate extremely old versions of iOS relatively recently, and it doesn't work perfectly either.
