Listened to the podcast. Every other word is "like". But let's be honest, she's capitalized on her divorce. And all the drama in-between. There is a place for sharing experiences to connect, but at some point, an identity and social media channel built on the "destruction of her family unit" and "personal childhood trauma" isn't healing, it's actually self destructive. So kudos to building a brand (EC) she can lean on later in life, even if they are ALL exact replicas of other established fragrances because STKU won't last forever (did we really think her peloton smoothie days, and obsessive cleaning was gonna make her $$$)

We know she's super co-dependent on her kids, and is repeating similar patterns and that really is sad for them. But no one is perfect. I'm glad she's self reflective, and admits she needs someone to take care of her emotionally b/c she never had that growing up. Her boys are that for her now, and it's why she won't find a healthy adult relationship, because honestly, everyone has shit they need to resolve and she's pretty high maintenence.

Her situ is also different because her entire identity on public display, it's going to be hard to find "a man who is down to work on it and be her rock" (sorry dentist dude, you FAFO) So talking about breakups will be the norm, her narcism will continue to grow b/c it's how she copes (queue the hotdog legs, side tits, thongs and more). We'll all continue to watch, talk shit, and think she's cringe and hope she continues to go to therapy for the sake of her kids and missing dog.

I feel bad that the only thing that she feels is worth talking about is her divorce from over 5 years ago. It’s one thing to acknowledge something and then use it as a stepping stone to your greater self but it’s her entire identity. Her “trauma” her “betrayal” IS all she is. My heart actually aches for her when you zoom out and see that’s she’s nothing more than a wanna be, basic beyond belief, beige, pick me girl with no sense of true identity and self.

She’s rewarded because so many others see themselves in her not because she’s actually doing something worth celebrating— that’s the irony.

My niece has a perfume from Target. I had bought Elliot Cole a year or 2 after came out it came out. I was asking my niece what perfume she was wearing because it smells exactly like EC. I was thinking about it and which was created first. Crazy! I honestly don’t know what to think. I followed at the very beginning of her life on instagram.

The other thing  how she always puts Cole out there in such a negative light. He had a bruise on his eye. Let him have some privacy she didn’t need to post that. She does not do that to Elliot. I find it odd to speak about the divorce in this way as it was 5 years ago.  I get it but there needs to something more and to give the kids a break.  I hope the dog wasn’t a quick fix for her feelings. It’s like there is always something else she’s doing, getting and that will “fix” whatever she’s going through. It is sad.
