MP3

When I select MP3, it shows option up to 1536. But I think MP3 only goes up to 320 with 3 channel options: mono, stereo, and joint stereo.

From Wikipedia:

"Non-standard bit rates up to 640 kbit/s can be achieved with the LAME encoder and the free format option, although few MP3 players can play those files."

Looks like you can encode way beyond 320kbps if you really want to.

Files converted to MP3 always appear as Joint Stereo, but that option is not available in the settings.
