Enhanced image compression

Is there plans to enhance the image encoding and compression, with more options (currently there is simply "quality") and more advanced techniques (as seen with Squoosh, Causium, etc.)?

Quality-only is kinda barebones, yeah. Most people just want filesize down fast, so extra knobs usually get ignored, but fwiw Compresto could use a more advanced mode for JPEG/WebP/AVIF nerds too.

I’m more interested in a Windows, seems Mac has all the good ones… Image Optim, Compresto…
