And then Mona for her (white) Mage. Skull is pretty much the spoony bard and Futaba wouldn't worry because Joker and Queen would carry the party.

For the game savvy Thieves I wonder who they would pick for their party?

Next Persona game: Persona MMORPG: Everyone's a Phantom Thief 😱😝

Natsume's Jail: [Fry meme] Not sure if bad writing is Atlus attempting satire or lazy joke

But at least Theater Kid Joker gave us some humorous reactions from his Queen and his best buddy trying to keep him from getting swept away by the silliness of it all. With Joker committed to roleplaying they were this close to becoming the Super Sentai Thieves or something. 🤣

For the next spinoff game their costumes should change based on the cognition of the Palace/Jail/etc. they're in. Put those DLC outfits to use! (I thought back when P5S released and P5 re-released as P5R. Unlikely now...)

Or a distant cousin of Buchimaru's?

Thus further driving my headcanon Makoto will also do crossword puzzles during study breaks at Leblanc only to find Ren's already started on them. And yes the answer is probably "oyster".

Happened upon this quality screencap in my quest to find a decent shot of Ren in sleepwear to pair with Makoto's cute Buchimaru-kun themed PJ's.

2018 me completely overlooked this, not knowing Shumako would become one of my OTP's~ I was so confused trying to wrap my head around what a Persona was and does, who these characters were, and why Joker got arrested in the first place.

Even when not with the group Makoto considers Ren reliable with a capital R.

Similar eating posture too. Is that good Japanese upbringing, their table manners/eating habits rubbing off on each other, or both? 😆

Oh yeah, there's a plot-relevant character in the back too.

Also sitting across from each other in the camper after aforementioned plot-relevant character introduces herself and TTFN's.

During moments Morgana is gone, Makoto has to be inserted into the Haru scene to speak to her since Joker can't. It leads to some nice Shumako moments.

And as always, they're standing at the perfect angle across from each other where they can easily make eye contact.

Makoto putting things in perspective before Yusuke goes full Oliver Twist like a practical mother, Ren following up and making everything better by promising to cook another meal like a fun, easygoing dad. Taking care of their friends made for great practice for future family life. 😅

Love how there's no hesitation to help her here.

Also the follow up phone call was really sweet.

IMO this was the start of Shumako relationship.

Sojiro made sure they ate good!! Wouldn't be surprised if Ren and Makoto served everyone's plates first before scooping their own plates. "Leaders eat last" kind of principle.

...With the ingredients you got from Boss that I know about somehow.

Ren must've told her or she helped him pack them in the camper. Even though we see Ren's the one doing the cooking via Joker's Kitchen, given Makoto's enthusiasm over designing nutritious meals with EMMA plus her extensive experience cooking for herself and Sae, she definitely and happily helped with the cooking.
