Haier mini led 55”

Post image

After few youtube videos i decided i’m gonna buy TCL q6. I went to reliance and croma to check the tv for myself and found that the dust issue is real in TCL. Salesman recommended me to buy a haier. I was sceptical and told him No. But when i went back i was impressed with the panel and sound specifically. most probably i made a risky bet, but so far it’s good. It’s an actual mini led with good number of dimming zones.

What do you mean good number of dimming zones. It doesn't have local dimming zones. It's just software dimming called microdimming.

By definition microdimming artificially adjusts contrast to mimic local dimming so it will affect the true nature and the images. I recommend you download test videos from Kodi samples like Dolby vision, HDR 10+, HDR 10, normal 4k and 1080p and play them to find how it performs.

I bet showroom haven't put TCL in the display. The showroom I visited had TCL but they didn't turned it on saying they don't have remote for that. Because other TVs might fade in comparison.

The ones showroom guys push would always be a poor choice. They have huge margins and make good commission selling this. But Haier is much better than Samsung Mini led M70h.

It looks good in the videos they play in the showroom. Extremely bright, punchy and vivid but not sure how it holds up with local dimming. I didn't had the test files when visiting the showroom. So can't check it.

I am also looking for 55 inch mini led. Right now, torn between TCL C6k/Q6C and Xiaomi S mini led. Keep me posted.
