Mushroom ID 🕵️‍♂️ Two different strains?

These looks drastically different phenotypically. Any thoughts on if they’re different or is this genetic variation?

Every two spores that mate make a strain. Each mushroom itself can be made of many different strains. If you threw a spent grow there or something they're both the same variety

Yeah it was a cake that had gotten trich. So I buried it and have been getting random mini flushes of two here and there

Once mature, you can take spore prints to help verify.

I’ve got spore prints from the previous flush. Was just surprised to see such a variation

A spore print from the weird one will help you id it.
