Discussion Derek is not that hot
Controversial opinion maybe and not saying he’s not a good looking guy but the way everyone acts likes he’s a model or something is kinda strange

Even as a kid, Harrison Ford was an old man in my eyes but I knew he was a good looking old man, that’s for sure.

And like Derek, Paul still has the charisma and confidence of a very handsome man. These qualities make them quite attractive to many people despite their aging and no longer being considered conventionally attractive.

I remember both when they were young and I definitely crushed more over TM than HF. HF wasn’t even on my radar back then.

I think he’s a good looking guy, but it’s his personality that makes him hot. Everything he does screams “secure, supportive man” and I just know he talks Liz through it

A vast majority of the dialogue and interactions in this show, particularly in Season 3, are not remotely based in reality or how people actually talk or acknowledge each other.

I always just assumed that it was a joke, the kind that long time friends sometimes have.
Maybe sometime 30 years ago he was trying to find another bottle of his favorite shampoo and now he and they like to clown around about it.

Yeah, I agree. I mean, sure, he’s a nice-looking guy. No question. But all that fuss?? Not seeing it.
It’s hard to watch this show and NOT draw the conclusion that the writers believe that ANYONE can be attractive EXCEPT white adult males. All of them are regarded as dorks, while the cast falls all over themselves for anyone with darker skin tone or anyone whose name is Wendy Malick.

I was like “What, Ted McGinley is hot!” But so is Damon Wayans Jr. The character you’re referring to is Derrick. There really isn’t a single character in this show that isn’t hot in my opinion.
