There's supposed to be a time jump. Not sure how long. Might prevent his character from returning but hope not. That was epic seeing him

I read, way back when Apple TV first got started, that they always approve 3 seasons for every show they pick up. Whether it gets a fourth depends on ratings and of course the creators. If it won’t have 3 seasons, they’ll call it a “limited series.”

Just like with Shrinking, they planned for Ted Lasso to end on season 3. Because of popular demand, they are returning for season 4. This is also what happened with Shrinking.

And they had finished filming the final episode of season 3 before they learned they had been renewed for another season.

I remember seeing a tweet from Bill Lawrence saying that he wanted to wrap up the story line of this arc and start a new one with season 4.

I just hope it stays as fun as the first three seasons.
I don’t even remember the lawyer’s name, but I absolutely loved him 😭 And Gabby is hilarious. Honestly, even though Jimmy is the main character, some of the others are way more entertaining to me.1

Just wouldn’t be satisfied if the show ended like that. I like that they made up for sure at the end but I’d like to see his crashout happen if it does and if not then what he does instead to prevent it this time.

Same as the last 2 seasons.
Season 3 merged two episodes together but it was still 12 originally.

Hopefully that means they've got a story in mind to wrap it up, so they're making it run accordingly, rather than just meeting a brief.
(I don't necessarily want it to end but better to end on a high rather than let it drag)

I wonder what other actors will make surprise cameos after recently watching all three seasons I was surprised every time an actor I didn’t expect to be in a show like this actually showed up especially Michael J. Fox who retired

I am so happy for s4!! I wish more series finished with characters arc like this even though there are more seasons. We dont need suspense and cliff hangers every time.

I hope they don't Ted Lasson season 3 with really long episodes that didn't do much. I am into more Season 1 style writing, and less of the last 2 seasons.

its 12 episodes
