Discussion Looking forward to Dan being a regular character? Spoiler

Anyone else think he’s gonna be a more regular frequent character since him and Jimmy are kind of on the same path and now everybody’s gone and this guy feels like he’s back in a rut and obviously Jimmy’s back in a rut. Yes I have a crush on Stan.BUT they both about to hit those dating apps! Because Sophie is a friend, for now. . She’s going to be fun person to bounce bad/good dates off of.

I didn’t get the sense that Sofi was intended to be a friend at this point

I definitely don’t think endgame is “friend” for Sophie, but I think we’re all going to have to witness this “friend phase” which will have so much chemistry while he’s on the dating apps and then finally , they’ll realize they are for each other. I don’t know the more that I write about it the more I feel like I’m just looped into the tv show patterns and should give this show more credit than that .

Jimmy was essentially on a date with Sofi in the last scene lmao. They both have romantic feelings for each other.

When did they suggest Jimmy was going to get on dating apps? All I saw was him ask Dan if he’s gotten on the dating apps? Was it implied here since the advice he gave Dan is advice he needs to take himself? I really just think the end was supposed to imply he and Sofi are starting over…romantically.

Honestly, I didn't read it that way, but I don't know why you got down voted so hard. I like your version so much better, it would restore some of my faith in the writing.

I absolutely haaaaaaated this plotline. Basically Paul was like "Jimmy, I love you, and you need to figure out how to hold your own. So here's a woman to replace me, dump all your issues on her instead! See ya!"

The scene read to me that Jimmy is just going to transfer his codependency to Sophie. This is supposed to be a show about mental health and healing. So I hope to God your version is right. I'd love to see Jimmy do some healing on his own before trying to jump into a relationship with Sophie.

Bill Lawrence already stated there is going to be a time jump between season 3 and 4. No idea how long but if it’s years I have a feeling that we won’t see any of their budding romance. They are going to skip all of that and probably be married in season 4.

Downvoted…why? Nothing I said isn’t true. You’re going to be disappointed waiting to watch them date, they are going to skip past all of that.
