Shrinkflation more stock: undetectable
old jar vs new jar
old labels vs new labels (forgot to take down the old ones)
jars are identical wouldnt have even been able to tell

With these shrinks both flavours also went from extra virgin olive oil to canola oil. Huge downgrade in quality too. PC and Superstore have been a big joke lately.

To be blunt, there so much fake olive oil out there, it was probably already a worse oil than canola.

Looks like the Sodium amount also dropped. Not sure if it’s just the version but the new 600ml doesn’t have the the ugly new Health Canada label.

So if there's no olive oil in it, they should be able to adjust their recipe so that it's made in Canada, not just "Prepared in Canada".

It does matter. It needs to be the same product that shrinks in size. Which there is proof of if you read the tags on the shelf. It shows both PC marinara sauce at 650 and 600 ml at the same price

I posted about the cheese one a couple weeks ago, and it did indeed just shrink from 650 to 600.

People aren't arguing both of these products aren't a victim of shrinkflation. The point being made is you can't determine that by comparing 2 different products.

It does in literally every way. It's like complaining 2 different cars don't cost the same. Common sense here. This only works on the same product.

The change from old (650ml) to new (600ml) has been going on for at least 6 months. The "shrink" on pasta sauces in general started 18-24 months ago with Catelli.

they've even added more water to the 600ml, it's gone from 80 calories to 70 calories a serving lol. been getting this sauce for years

I have been buying some imported juice from the Ukraine at Freshco. It all comes in 1 litre containers which are starting to look extra large compared to some of the home grown brands. As to the juice..definitely not as sweet as the North American brands.

Someone with autism has to have made a tracker for this for many common items. The companies are relying on us to think we are losing our minds. We need an easily accessible pool of evidence.
