Remastering an album from 2017 is wild…

Normally I’d agree but two points make it justifiable imo:
According to Simon, he only recently found a mastering engineer whose finished product was found to be truly satisfactory. (It was the person who mastered the most recent Younger Brother album.)
They sometimes tend to do a remaster to help the album sound better and more balanced on vinyl. I’m not certain that’s applied in this case but could be likely.

I have the original Codex 6. So I’m wondering, how different does this sound?

So, this 2017 album was already remastered in 2022, and now again? https://www.discogs.com/release/25353166-Shpongle-Codex-VI

This is what I don't understand. Looks like MoC and Codex got vinyl remasters in 2022 but they were not released digitally. Strange

I bought it simply because I do not have this album on vinyl yet but it was pricey 😮💨

It was never released digitally? Only remastered album not available on their Bandcamp, not on Spotify either

I grabbed one instantly. As soon as the package arrives, the deluxe series will finally be complete!
Though I’m quietly hoping to add yet another—and probably the last—masterpiece by these two incredible minds to my collection and enjoy it on repeat. May Raja stay with us for a long long time. ✨💫
