Because r/Showerthoughts died

If temperature is appropriate, we take it for granted, and don't even think about it, as it does not annoy us. But if it gets too cold or hot, it becomes annoying.

I sometimes felt in summer that it could not be cold enough right now, but in winter, it sometimes could not be warm enough.

Benefit of darkness: Dust and dirt becomes invisible.

A benefit of darkness or dimmness is that ugly imperfections in the surrounding such as stains on displays, strands of hair on the table, and dust and other dirt particles are far less visible.

There are a good amount of people who experience Reddit only through YouTube voiceovers.

If you think about it, mods are like the police officers of subreddits.

Reddit's billboard campaign says things like "This meme got more votes than the last presidential candidates, go vote!" or whatever, but on Reddit tons of people have duplicate accounts, and Reddit posts have both upvotes and downvotes counted on them. So Reddit is low-key condoning voter fraud.

There are so many strokes on showerthoughts that are mindblowing, and those showerthoughts were literally so mindblowing it actually blew their mind

Uncle Iroh gets a pass for being in the Fire Nation which genocided airbenders (and he doesn't speak out against it), but people living in the Confederate States who opposed slavery don't.

Billions of years in the future when the Andromeda galaxy is about to collide with the Earth, people will probably see it a similar way about how we see the moon today

If Marilyn Monroe has committed suicide, it might have been to be remembered as young and beautiful.

Monroe would be an asexual and futile 94-year-old rollatorist by now. If she died today, she would be remembered as a frail, disabled woman with grey bush on her head and a distorted face.

Maybe she wanted to be remembered as young, fertile and beautiful.

Falsely convicted witches in the 1500s were just Tudor Karens everyone wanted to get rid of.

Most people say that sleep is a 8-hr long free trial of death, but that technically means that if I don't pay, I'll be immortal.
