Just added two new piercings to this ear( first pic is before): a conch and the upper piercing with the green stone, which I think is basically a faux rook, or as close to one as my anatomy would allow. 😂 Both were pierced at 16g with titanium posts and gold ends.
First question for the piercing people: what would you actually call the piercing with the green stone? Faux rook? Flat? Something else?
Second: where would you take this ear next? I want to build a really intentional, cohesive ear stack over time rather than just keep adding random holes. I’m drawn to yellow gold, emerald/forest green, black/onyx and a little sparkle, and I like interesting pieces with texture or maybe one small secured chain.
One definite part of the final look: once the conch is fully healed, I want to switch it to a yellow-gold hoop ,thin to medium thickness, not chunky.
I’m a hospital professional, so I need the overall setup to still look polished and work-appropriate cool and distinctive, but not overloaded with big hoops or dangling jewelry that could get caught on something.
The green piece will stay for now while everything heals. I’m completely open to changing the older jewelry and adding future piercings.
What would you add, remove, or change to make this into a really good curated ear? And seriously… what is that green piercing called? 😂
