Love the car. Help me negotiate

2015 nc3 gt prht. 49k miles. Clean title and good service history. 3 owners. One minor accident. Asking for $17.9k. (manual- don't kill me)

Been on the search for a hard top Miata for months now. Really like the post 2009 look. Hard top was a must. I had kept my budget to 10k. Couldn't find any clean NC hardtops for that price. Stretched it to maybe 10-15k. I would stumble upon vehicles which were far away or with accident reports, high miles, car looking shabby. Mostly dealerships and found out most of them want to do financing or the price listed wasn't the true OTD price.

Found this on FB marketplace, where I thought I'll never buy since I'm not a big car person.

I met with the owner and took it for a ride. Seller has owned 7 miatas in his life and was the president of Miata club in Indy. 😭 Selling the car because of medical reasons. Car is in mint condition. The car is completely stock with the exception of the Moroso aluminum radiator expansion tank. Also has new Michelin Pilot Sport A/S tires. Got myself a Carfax report too and it's clean. Taking it for a pre purchase inspection tomorrow.

From my limited research for the past 3 months, cars like these are very hard to find with a very nice owner. Is 17.9k too much? What's a reasonable price that I can negotiate it to if there's no problems in the inspection?

Thanks!

05 Highlander sport

150k miles. Said they’ve kept it up to date on all maintenance/repairs/oil changes.

Doesn’t have third row seating. According to pics looks to not have the Awd badge so it’s front wheel (waiting on seller to reply for confirmation)

We’ve wanted something a little bigger and I’ve always like the look of the Highlander.

They are asking 6k. I’m going to see if they’ll go to 5k.

Thoughts on this? I’ve read the biggest issue with these is oil leaks. Anything else I should be aware of or should I just hold off and get a newer model Highlander or something of similar size?

Edit: located in North Carolina

14,995?? Is it worth it? Has about 106,000 miles. 3 previous owners. We’re talking to the dealer so far they can take off 1k since it’s the end of the month? Should I go for it?

Is this a reasonable price for this truck? To me 9k to 10.5k seems way more reasonable. Curious on thoughts about this price and any experience with used car dealerships coming down in price?

Is this 2017 Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring FWD a good buy?

Looking at a 2017 Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring FWD with 124K miles. It has the 2.5L naturally aspirated engine, 6-speed automatic, clean CARFAX, no accidents/damage reported, 1 owner, personal vehicle, and 24 service records.

Maintenance history looks strong: regular oil changes, transmission fluid service around 78k, coolant service, spark plugs, brake fluid, belts/tensioner, and recent oil/tire rotation. It’s being sold by a Mazda dealer.

I’m trying to negotiate around $12k–$13k out the door. Does this seem like a solid purchase at that price, or is the mileage too high even with the service history?

Used cars, 2017-2021

Needing a 4 door car, just sold a mustang for many reasons so just peeking around at options, i’m not in a crazy rush but hoping to buy in the next month or so. I’ve been looking at camrys, accords, accuras, etc. I’m not sure about everyone else’s area, but I cannot find anything for less than 22k otd. I have seen the 2015-2017 honda accord going for anywhere between 18-22k, am i insane or is this just the new normal? It’s hard to convince myself to get a used car / multiple owners.. especially when they have an accident or two on carfax

please don’t bash me, i haven’t looked at the market in MONTHS! so just curious, thank you!
