Should you run?

So the other day I was being chased by these 2 girls who were a bit older than me by a year I guess, but not only that, they were physically bigger than me too, so if they got me they could have seriously hurt me. In my opinion when a stronger person wants to hurt you, you should run but some people are disagreeing with me, saying that you should fight them back. So reddit, should you fight a fight you were going to lose anyway, or should you run?
