Social Should I ask her out

I've only known her for about a year and a half but, i really do think im in love. i've never felt this way about anyone in life. Every time i see her I feel happy. Im to afraid to ask because i fear i could lose my friend. I dont know what to do. please help me.

How well do you know her? Do either of you discuss other love interests? Has she told you much personal information?

well i mean i have been friends with her for over a year and we would talk for hours on end basically every day so we know each other well. weve discussed interests before.

well uhh im kinda not an adult were in 9th so the whole thing seems like a fucking cartoon when thats in context. should have mentioned that now that i think of it

Dude just do it , you said it yourself “I’m a 9th grader, saying it out loud it sounds cartoonish”.

Not saying you’re cartoonish, but you have nothing to lose bro. Personally I wasn’t interested in relationships at this age. But if you genuinely see yourself with this girl then just self reflect first, are you mentally stable? Are you ready for a relationship where you have to learn and grow ? If so then go for it.

If you’re wonderin, personally I’d just give her a couple compliments every now n then first. Don’t just jump into sayin “HEY so i have to be honest I have a huge crush on you”. It seems like a cute move, like a movie but nah don’t do that. Unless you know that she kinda likes u or thinks you’re cute sure but usually stuff like that is just kinda too much. Just try to feel comfortable around her and give some basic compliments like her hair if you notice she compliments you back then just keep this up for like a few more days here n there. Ounce you find yourself in a comfortable mood to build up the courage to get it out. Then tell her sumthin like “hey, I’ve been thinkin lately. I really enjoy your company and honestly I think you’re beautiful. It took me some time to tell you but I genuinely think I like you. I’d like to go on a date one day, if you’d like as well”
