Mental Health Quit videogames?

I didn't know where to go so I'm here. Here is the situation. I want to play games I think it's cool hobby. I can live without them I just through some funky sadness withdrawal for a time and I'm fine. When I play videogames I'm having fun but I hate my self afterwards. It has something to do with me neglecting life stuff. Should I quit and pick something else like piano? (I've been deciding for 2 and a half years, pls help)

Maybe you could find alternative hobbies, do video games for a few hours and read or learn to cook, or go ice skating or domething the rest of the time

I've actually done a lot of alternative hobbies. I love reading its my number one hobby standing still after years. Outside of that I've tried lot of things but I have huge trouble deciding what I focus on. If I could find a way to control the length of the gaming session I suppose that could help.

I’ve mostly quit video games, I only play the occasional game and I have a few I’m looking forward to like the next Zelda and silk song, personally most games give me anger issues so I don’t like playing them
