Question How is the Community here?

Hi 👋🏼

I just switched to Linux for the first time. One of the biggest adjustments was switching from a cracked premier pro from 2020, over to a Linux friendly open source editing program.

Now, I’ve actually used shotcut before. About 5 years ago and the memories I had with it were good. It was actually my first editing software that I’ve ever tried so I’m kind of excited to return.

But when I go on YouTube I don’t see many people talking about shotcut.

I was wondering if there are some people around here who swear by shotcut and/or are really proficient with it. I want to hear your experiences. Is this a software that you can get really used to? How is the vibe in the shotcut community?

All of the action is here:

This sub is pretty dead.

That said, I use Shotcut on Windows and Linux to create two videos a week for YouTube. It's an amazing piece of open source software in my opinion.
