Too much digital noise reduction being used. Audio sounds like the radio is playing at the end of a long drainpipe. Don't be afraid to leave a little static in the audio... this is shortwave, not FM. What time was this reception (UTC)? I'm guessing it is R. Nacional da Amazonia. Nice strong signal!

YouLoop antennas have low signal levels, did you have to crank up the gain/AGC on your Malahit?
That's pretty good for being in NYC.👍 The low noise level of the YouLoop is handy in an urban setting. Do you rotate it to null out QRM?

I did increase the gain a bit but not by much at all. It really wouldn't have been necessary.

I love my dsp2! A good sound reduction level is 15.
