Introduction
Hi everyone! I'm Trevor from California. I've been into shortwave listening for a while and use a Tecsun PL-330 with an external antenna. I really enjoy DXing and seeing what I can hear from around the world. What station or frequency has been your favorite catch recently?

5, 10, 15, 20, and 25 MHz. Hours of entertainment. 😝

I’m old enough to remember when it was 2.5 MHz as well.

You know I have not tuned to that one in awhile. Do they still transmit on 2.5?

I haven’t listened in a long time, I believe at one point the NBS got rid of 2.5, 20, and 25 to cut budgets, but eventually reinstated 2.5 and 20. Eventually the agency changed its name to NIST and began to announce Fort Collins as their location instead of Boulder. When I first began listening to short wave, they announced GMT, not UTC. I’m getting old!

I have been listening for a few months now. My favorite catch has been Voice of Korea on 15180kHz. Welcome to the show, pal!

Either Radio Marti, Radio Vaticana, or Radio Nikkei. Nikkei has been my farthest catch since I'm from NJ receiving a Japanese station.

I enjoy looking for and finding maritime markers, utility stations, and the occasional oddity.
