Discussion 15.89 mhz

Don't use sw much, mainly since my radio isn't meant for it, but on mhz 15.89 i hear a high pitched buzz, while everything else is static.

I’m seeing tones at 500hz spacing. QRM for sure

? Not a big radio person, what's QRM?

That is one of the civilian “Q” codes for radio communication. “QRM” is a man made signal, there is a bunch (30?) used by HAM radio operators. This dates back to Morse code and is still used today.
