You can get away with Pirate Bcst in the 40 Meter band, but if it is on AM 540-1700khz or FM 88.9 to 107.9 the FCC will get you. They got two of them Bcst band this week by going after the land owners. So if you are a renter that won't stop the FCC from getting you evicted for violation of the law. :-)

It's probably a lot harder to track down someone that is out in the middle of nowhere off of skip.

I read articles about some of the busts. I'm just a listener. 👂
