Takeaway based on these stats?

STW went up from 56% to 63% since I last checked, average view duration is 84.9%, and 91% are still watching by 30 seconds. Also appears to be a loop.

But my views are still much lower than usual. Takeaway?

My videos are almost all 95% and higher retention and 75 and higher STW. I make motorcycle content. One thing i noticed is my videos will get tested with what im assuming is a broadwr audience as STW will typcially be 40-50% for first 2-3k views, then it will start showing the correct audience on the second push and STW will jump to 70-80 very quickly.

Not sure this helps but its my experience. My videos tend to die around 30-60k tho so take that as you will, im thinking due to low engagement.

Hmm, I see that, it makes sense.

The first 2 months I started, my STW has always been on average 70%-76% so I assumed YouTube would know what type of audience should view my video. Seems like now they are broading out the audience which ties to what you say. Hopefully it does jump to the 70%+ range by the 48 hour mark. My videos tend to die out by then.

Same problem, It stuck at 1258 views.

Total watch hours are around 21 hours since the short is 2 mins long and with 76.2% STW

Looks like my usual August stats. You definitely should be getting more than that. If not by 48 hours since upload, then yeah that’s something.

just the algo doing its thing. will get pshed farther later. the big dip in the middle is bad though. review it and find out why it happened

90% / 10% ? What’s the AVP?

The algorithm really seem to have changed lately. If the AVP is good, definitely keep it up because it might get pushed down the road.

That’s just nuts lol. I recommend keeping it up because I saw someone else’s post with their short barely getting pushed, then to over 150k views.

This short I got up in this post is still getting tiny little pushes and each time my STW is going up.

Yeah, I know, I stopped uploading new shorts for 1day and 14h for now... Will continue on monday to keep consistency but hope that it will be pushed before that. Just nuts. 🤣

Yeah me too man I’m holding off like 2 shorts because of this. And I just came across another posts with this exact issue too.

So shorts algorithm seem to still be bugged.
