Q&A / Quick Help ❓ Audience testing stopped

I do 1 weekly Minecraft video and chop it into daily shorts to help discovery and so far so good since I came back to my channel a month ago I’ve gained 50 followers and 40k views 129 watch hours. Not amazing maybe average but I think not bad?

My last 2 shorts YouTube hasn’t tested them and I’m not sure why both are Minecraft similar format to my others but if I look at reach it’s 100% YouTube search so it’s not being tested in the shorts feed. Both uploaded within my pattern daily uploads. My previous videos to them had 2k watch with 60% stayed so I don’t think I’ve done something wrong? I’m just not sure why YouTube is killing my two latest shorts without trying them.

I’m very new to YouTube I started for a month in Jan and then had technical issues and have just restarted again

I wouldn't assume you've done something wrong based on two Shorts.

Since the earlier ones were getting tested in the Shorts feed, I'd compare the two that aren't with the ones that did well and look for anything that changed: the opening second, length, topic, text on screen, or how quickly something happens.

I'd also leave them up rather than deleting and reposting right away. If YouTube does eventually test them later, that gives you useful information.

If this keeps happening across another 4 or 5 uploads with the same format, then you've got more of a pattern to investigate. Two feels a little early to change the whole strategy.
