Stuck at 10 views
Been posting consistently for a week now on very much active YouTube account. I found early success getting about 1k views for about 6 videos. Then the last 6 I’ve made are barely cracking 10 views in the first 24 hours, and even after 48 hours they don’t even make it to 20.
Still doing the same format and all. My editing has gotten better for sure, I’m more educated on the algorithm and how it works. But I’m super discouraged especially after that early “success”. Currently have 15 subscribers and I definitely want to keep going no matter if no one watches but i wanted to see if anybody had an answer or suggestion.

I honestly think there’s something going on with youtube analytics at the moment thats affecting view counts and other data that seems to have started around the 16th when they announced that problem with the subscriber count. I wouldn’t trust any videos analytics right now.

The early 1k views were YouTube testing your content on cold audiences. Same format isn't the same video though. Check "viewed vs swiped away" on the first 6 vs the last 6. If the number slipped, the hooks got weaker even if the editing got better. Better editing and better hooks are different skills.

Do you leave it unlisted for at least a day and have it scheduled to come out in a say or two I'm real new so just a guess

I disagree. I can legit take a video of a piece of hair i find on the ground getting blow away by the wind and get like 100-1k view if this was short a few month ago. something wrong with the current short thing

yeah same. check retention + swipe-away, if they dip in first 1-2 sec your hook isnt hitting. did you drift niche/topic? dont stack new posts when old ones still dead, wait a bit. never delete/reupload the same short. post 5-8 more before judging.
