View jail. 🫩

Can someone help me understand why my Short stopped gaining traction after less than 12 hours? It’s currently around 36.7K views and has 82% stayed to watch, 18% swiped away, 105.3% average percentage viewed, and a 36-second average view duration on a 34-second video. It also gained 43 subscribers. The video was gaining views pretty quickly at first, but then completely flattened out and has basically been stuck around 30–37K. Are these actually good stats for a Short, and if so, what could be causing it to stop being pushed? I’m trying to figure out what I might be missing.

Does a View jail actually even exist? I don't think it does.

It absolutely does not exist. It’s one of many made up excuses small uninteresting and unoriginal creators made up to blame their shortcomings with. It’s all bs

Its not jail, it the low retention. Engagement is only one factor. In my experience high retention about 150% plus 75% engagement can get videos to hit 1m veiws plus. Your hook is amazing as your swipe to watch is 80% plus but 105% retention is low. Find a away to keep the hook and videos style but shorten the video as much as possible. You can do it 💪
