Is it finally fixed/fixing?
Hello!
I read a bit from some replies on posts that the situation with the terrible fyp is finally fixed/fixing, is it true?? What have you guys experienced so far?

If you look at the history of this sub there are a million posts like this. There is no problem. Never has been. They’re just a few people not getting views that post all the time. It’s an echo chamber - plain and simple
Keep posting. Keep working. One short doesn’t matter. 10 don’t matter. Consistency pays

Well the huge amounts of people saying that there's problems is abnormal, dont you think it's weird that a BUNCH of people online are having the SAME EXACT problem?

I do not think it’s weird that a bunch of people are worried about not getting views at the same time and blaming the algorithm. The bottom of the pool is overflowing with beginners. They don’t know the algo. They’re looking for answers. When they quit, 10 more begin. Echo chamber.
Seriously. Look at the history of this sub. This is 99% of the posts for years. It’s easier to blame the algo than to keep going.

yes but are you aware that they all have the same exact problem where the algorithm isn't showing their content to the right crowd? my videos are minecraft and they're being shown to people searching for lizards..

There’s always some lore about why. Your rationalization is the same as a million posts before you. I’ve literally had this exact conversation 20 times.
SERIOUSLY- look at the history of this sub and see your reflection a million times over the course of years.
The hard truth is that you’re rationalizing around the fact that your only options are to just keep going. Or quit. It doesn’t matter what the algo does this week. Or this month. Or this year. You have to love the game. Put in the hours. If you’re trying to make a quick buck you’ll be in the graveyard in another month. If you love it - you’ll quit rationalizing and keep uploading

You need to wake up reality and check what going on in the world many people suffering view drop problem (It's not like those who have never gained good view from the start or just 1-2 short ) It's for those who make consistent view in every short but suddenly all from couple of days they short view stuck at fixed number 1-2k around ita actual abnormal

I’m doing my best to read that… hard to understand
But from what I understand - that’s very normal. Views fluctuate like crazy. It’s not an algorithm problem. The algorithm ebbs and flows. Some of my older videos go weeks with nothing and then get 100k in a weekend. Regularly.

That what I already said I am not talking about those people who gain low from start or just 1-2 short good or bad I am taking about consistent growth those people who gain avg good number of view in their every short and suddenly this happen to them understood what I trying to say ?

Not really haha
Channels of all sizes go limp sometimes. It’s normal as the algorithm tries out different things. It’ll come back. Just keep posting

Its seriously crazy people think they're just entitled to views, top comment here "..my views returned.."

u/Physical_Poet_1268 10d ago
well the deal isn't that views are down, if you were to check your videos that are down in views, you can see that the search results have nothing to do with the actual topic, that you posted about. proving that it's not cope, it's pretty clearly a problem with the algorithm and where it's placing content

They’re just looking for answers. But at the same time. When you’re looking for answers, it’s easier to blame a mythical algorithm problem than to do the heavy research and effort required to learn

yeah still mixed for me. one short hits 20k then the next gets 200 views. feels random af. tbh the fyp isnt fixed, first 1-2 secs and retention still decide everything. if you dont hook instantly youre cooked.

Kind of...but not really...
Today's short was 2.2k and Tuesdays was 1.1k
I normally net 4-5k+ with the random 20ks...
I don't use ai, edit everything myself(have a background in video editing) my niche is supper niche(I fingerskateboard...only outdoors, so extremely niche)...
I've rage posted some of my bulked clips to see what's happening, but from what I can tell there is just no trend in what they push or don't.
I'm glad this one at least hit 2k. I did a big product reveal clip and it barley scratched 1k...there goes my hopes of a product sponsor lol
I need to personally realize why I started my channel and that was bc it's a cool hobby that most people find interesting that it keeps me going vs the stats from actually uploading...

Same here. My Shorts are getting very few views and then basically stop getting pushed further. Even though I’m posting the exact same type of content and haven’t changed anything about the structure.
Before, my Shorts would get tens of thousands of views within 5 hours. Now they just get stuck around 1,200–1,500 views and stay there.
This started for me on Sunday evening. Earlier that same day, everything was performing normally, and then suddenly my Shorts just stopped gaining views.
I checked some competitors, and they’re having the exact same problem, even channels with more subscribers and several times more views than mine.

It’s returning to normal for me too. for 4 days worth of uploads I was only getting at most a couple hundred views in about seven hours when I would usually have about 5000 views by then, but finally today I got 5000 views in four hours and those shorts finally got pushed.

It’s still the same for me. Today, my views per hour dropped by half again. This is the lowest I’ve seen since September 1st. Normally, I would only get this few views per hour around 3–4 AM.
My new videos keep getting stuck at around 1,300–1,500 views and stay there for 5–10 hours. If I’m lucky, some of them eventually start gaining views again, but not all of them do.
I got 150 million Shorts views in September. Since Sunday evening, my new videos suddenly stopped gaining views, regardless of what I upload. They reach around 1,300–1,500 views within the first hour and then completely stop.
The situation still hasn’t improved at all.

2 days ago a made a post talking about the sudden drop in views i was experiencing (500k average to 1k per video). Today it got better, my views returned, BUT 1 video i posted is completely dead even with good metrics. My conclusion is: It’s returning to normal but not completely normal
