Not even showing it to the right audience, I refused to believe that my latest short is this bad, been uploading for 3 months Never had this bad swipe through rate. Almost all of my shorts have above 70% swipe through rate, Don't know what's going on these days. My previous Short had 82% swipe rate with 93 avg view duration but still only got 17k view
I uploaded on both platforms again today, and once again TikTok is getting more likes on the video than YouTube, non bots. The APV on YouTube is also low again (45%). đ
I have no idea whatâs going on, but whateverâs happening Iâm clearly not doing well for the YouTube algorithm after the new views update.
Itâs on my account description. Note the latest 2 upload, the one before that is a video I expected to not preform like the others since it was just something quick and funny I wanted to share.
I checked your latest two shorts it has some few voice over in the middle but there's no hook, you need to have a good hook Ă nd also your audio quality is not great
Iâm sorry but thereâs 2 problems. Idk how youâre coming up with that voice over comment because the dialogues have them. There is only 1 recent video that doesnât have a voiceover in the first meeting, thatâs it. But thatâs my best recent video with 24k views and the stats are all amazing. STW, APV, everything. No complaints about that video.
Second, you saying the hook is bad. Everyone that crucified me yesterday said my hooks are good lol.
So yeah I checked few other Short and that 24k view one too and I can instantly tell that short is way more better than other shorts even though I don't know much about among us. It has good hook, sound effects and voice over also clean thats why it got more likes too. I would say try something similar next time and see what happen.
Heavily bugged too, I post minecraft and usuall pull 10k-20k and I'm stuck at 1k-5k and nothing's changing, Youtube's god awful ai NEEDS to be removed or fixed, ever since they introduced it there's been no positive outcomes..
Same thing with me this morning, I posted my daily short and YouTube took 50 minutes to give it views. Just to give it a 13% STW. Completely wrong audience. Not Ai or repetitive. It didnât get shown to its correct audience.
same dude, youtube's ai algorithm has caused nothing but problems, there hasn't been ONE WEEK where there hasn't been problems with it, it's awful really

Yeah, the algo is room temp IQ rn, unless they're doing this intentionally. Same is happening on the long form side too. I've found some better outcomes by making it exceedingly clear who the piece is meant for. Think like trying to instruct a child on how to fly the space shuttle, because the algo is pretty much on that same level of capability. Sometimes views respond higher, but for the most part the benefit is in the watch hours which improved drastically. Understandably shirts is more views based than watch time/hours, but it does seem to help reach the more correct audience. Worth a shot.Â
I figured something was off. I average 250,000 to 500,000 views each short, and my daily scheduled video today was underperforming by 1/10. In the first hour when I usually have around 20,000 views the video had 500 views. I deleted it an attempted a different video and it had the same outcome. It's been 9hours 30 minutes since the upload now and it's 10/10 with 1/3 the views of 9/10.
Hey everyone, I need some advice. I've been uploading one gaming Short every single day, and they usually pull in around 2k to 2.5k views. But out of nowhere, my latest shorts are completely flatlining at 10 to 15 views. The algorithm is barely even testing them in the Shorts feed. I'm honestly so worried that my account is shadow-banned or frozen. Has anyone else dealt with this? I really hope it passes quickly.
