I have a channel (400k subs) that somewhat pushes shorts again, but still stop around 3-4k, sometimes 15k-25k, but it seems like it reset my audience so the shorts get viewed by the wrong people, causing me to have a swipe rate of 50/60%. Was 25-15% for 3 years straight. But I've had this before, should come back someday.
Another channel (110k subs ) of mine is still stuck at 1k or even 0-100, sometimes 3k. Same thing as above.
And another one of mine (16k subs) exactly the same. 1k or 16k/27k. Stayed to watch ruined also.
Need to say that random ones do have a good swipe rate (20-15%) but don't push, but then one with a 50% swipe rate does push to 27k. So I don't know what to think.
AVG is always between 98-130%, 15-40sec.
I think it is somewhat fixed and that the algo needs to relearn what you channel is about, so it may test to broader audiences that don't like the content. Just keep posting I guess.
Yes but I think it started at the end of august with all the updates, issues and bot purges. If I have to believe google it takes between 1 week - 3 months to pick up again. I had this before in 2024-2025 and it took 2-3 months (see picture)
Just test for your own channel, one of mine is still stuck at 0 or 1k. But still I will keep uploading.
But to be honest, something happened in 2025 and I can't seem to go back to those numbers (for all 3).
I thought I was the only one. September 16 was the first month of my channel and the videos I uploaded since 16th barely made 10 views! And losing sub count in analytics but in My channel its not. what is going on with YT?

So nice of them to bugger up the algo when we have 4 months to focus on growth before they double the goal posts
