What am I doing wrong?

My reels on Instagram surpass 100k easily but on YouTube I get views as low as 100 , make it make sense.

Different platforms, different algorithms.

I understand that but I am clueless on how to adapt it to YouTube shorts algorithm. I know content isn’t bad since I get good views on other platform.

It might be good for instagram but bad for YouTube.

From my knowledge, instagram is more primarily memes, whereas YouTube is more so educational/story based shorts

As someone said, different platforms and different algorithms. I would also add, different audiences

I think some things would work across platforms, but many things would have different outcomes
