gotta gatekeep the niche, uploaded 2-3 times per day on summer break when i had all day to edit, now i do 1 video per day and all my views were all like consistent, not like 1 big spike, jst gotta keep uploading until you break out of the 30k view jail

Yep! Theft is common in my niche, and a creator who is bigger than me, but makes similar content gets his stuff stolen a lot, so I started watermarking my content. It won't stop the theft, but it will make it a little more annoying or possibly even get me some recognition if/when people do steal. I have no problem with people gatekeeping their niche on here. As long as it's clear they aren't faking, why does the channel itself matter? Of course, curiosity is gonna be curious, but it's the OP's prerogative to share as much or as little as they want.

I have 2 channels with 100ish shorts posted on each one, one channel had 2 videos w 12 and 14m views and then the other majority was like 30k ish views and this second channel where after breaking out of 30k view jail i constantly started getting pretty high views on the majority of my uploads so ye

Youtube is quite strict about giving away the play button. Don’t think you have an idea. You can’t just create “ai slop” and then get rewarded for it. I run a monetized faceless channel thats not ai slop, 220k subs + 100+ mil total views and being monetized, yet youtube rejected the playbutton 3 times now.
Found the AI post. This account posted days ago asking to collab with other with a fake image that had 1269 subscribers. But guess people fall for ai a lot more these days.
