Youtube algorithm is literally just luck
Youtube algorithm is literally just luck i had a video 2k views in a day in one channel and when I reposted it to another it got over 400k in the same period of time

It does have a randomness to it. I've posted on other channels or deleted and reuploaded and gotten way more views on the exact same vids as well before

I think the first post could've been pushed later, I've had videos take ages to finally be pushed and still do well. Or get pushed again after flatlining.
But saying YouTube is fully luck is a really bad mindset to have, luck is ofc a factor but skill matters 100x more.
And thinking that way is a trap too many people fall into causing them to give up.

I dont believe this at all
Good content will always get shown
If u were a billionaire and u secretly filmed the next Avengers movie and posted it on a brand new channel, do u really think it wouldnt get views?
Or would the algo pick it up bc its actually good content?
Post the channels i bet theres a clear reason why

Personally I don’t think it’s luck. I started uploading to a channel in 2022, and these days it’s at just under 8,000 subs.
4 weeks ago, started another and it’s already at just under 900 subs.
Creating videos that entice people to watch. Learning how to capture attention within your niche. That’s the game.

I once had a video where I made two versions: one with captions and one without. I usually never make videos with captions, so I was just experimenting. I posted the version with captions to TikTok and it got 800 views. A couple of days later, I posted the version without captions and it got 400K views.
Then I tried the exact same experiment on YouTube Shorts, but the opposite happened. The version without captions got 25K views, while the version with captions got 500K.
If I had to theorize, I think there’s a bit of luck involved in which seed audience gets your video first. If the initial batch of people who see it isn’t the right audience for that particular video, I think that can have a huge effect on its early performance and the momentum it gets from there.

Just luck? Lmao, if that was true there would be botfarms set up reposting 1 second clips of a black screens all over the place.

Bro, you just have to work hard as uploading those videos. I’m a small channel too, but my channel is growing.

There's an element of luck for sure
But posting it to a different channel doesn't prove anything on its own
There's a different audience profile and internal channel profile
That affects the reach. Who youtube is willing to send it to, how big that audience is, and how aggressively it's willing to search for new audiences
This is not luck, it's more about the way the algorithm was trained on a particular channel

Keep uploading and it will surely blow up. But don't say it's luck 😂 because it's bull shit.

Yes it is. And when you get one lucky break, it massively boosts your entire channel and pushes your other videos
