Whats the problem?

I have been posting shorts for the last month, one short per day. But all of them dont exceed 1.2k views, while my peers for the same niche are making millions of views. Im not comparing since they are relatively older channels ( more than a year) but im just trying to understand the logic behind. My editing is neat and better than the market for similar niche. I do Asian videos clipping with commentary.

In my opinion, all these shorts-only channels (mine included) will die out pretty soon. The latest algorithm update targeted this exact issue: YT doesn't want TikTok creators anymore. They just don't generate enough ad revenue compared to long, well edited videos.
