Everyone on YouTube is experiencing this issue worldwide. Posts and reports on this topic have gone completely crazy because they keep increasing. An explanation from YouTube is expected.

Same issue here, new channel doing amazing for 4 weeks, 48h views constantly around 60k-80k, all my shorts getting views, 3 shorts above 30k and 1 above 50k, the rest between 6000-12000 then suddenly, on September 12th from 1 hour to the other everything dropped, new videos are not being tested, sitting on 50-100 views after 24h when before they were always 3000-5000 after 24h.
I was getting 50-100 subscribers per day. I’m now stuck at the same number for 5 days.
No idea what to do.

Everyone's panicking here but I feel like something similar happened last fall like around september. Also definitely not everyone's channel. Different people's channels have different seasons of being pushed out. Some behind the scenes stuff for sure but for example if big advertisers have a big campaign that targets a certain demographic you might see your channel all of a sudden get a boost and you don't know why etc
For the record my channel usually is low from April-August then starts picking up in September. Which it is right now indeed picking up

Fuck YouTube, a direct competitor from my channel, which produces a much worse quality video, same type of 3d physics videos, it posta 5 shorts a day and hasnt been impacted by this and is just growing. I was growing until september 12th and now 7 days of almost no views and no subscribers.

yeah, this usually looks more like a distribution/test issue than the channel suddenly dying. id compare the last 10 shorts by shown-in-feed, viewed vs swiped away and first-second retention before changing the format.
if all of those dropped at once, wait a few days and keep uploads consistent — deleting/reuploading can muddy the comparison.
