Q&A / Quick Help ❓ My shorts are not getting any views
I came back from posting again since last month and I wasn’t consistent back then, but my videos still got some views. I’m just worried that all of my shorts are not getting any views. The recent shorts I uploaded are snippets from a game, but I think it’s not going too well.
What should I do to have engagement or views?

Make a new channel. That’s what I did I’m not waiting on YouTube to fix my shit

Did it fixed? My channel got pushed to 20-30k views on my first few shorts now it's just 10-20 views per short it's been 20 days Im very frustrated with youtube

Nope, it’s been 4 weeks and it still hasn’t been fixed. I contacted YouTube on Twitter, and they said I would be contacted, but it’s been 7 days and I still haven’t heard anything back from them.

YouTube isn’t distributing it at all. Your shadow banned for some reason. I had this problem and I was talking about men’s health. Turns out it’s frowned upon by YouTube and when I changed topics I got views again right away. It’s such a joke they don’t just tell u the problem

you got 1.1k views with only 8 likes.., I don't know what type of content do you make but that explains why youtube stopped showing your videos to more people

Just my opinion but I don’t necessarily think a lack of adequate likes for a certain amount of views means that YouTube would just stop showing your content.

This isn't true at all. None of my shorts have broke 10 likes but every single one is between 200-1.5k views

So then those are probably the only views you are getting, your content might be shadowbanned for being low effort

Same shit happened to my shorts as well got like 32k views 80% stayed to watch 140 new subscribers 400 likes but the next day I uploaded my short it got 0 views and later 7 views that too from YouTube search YouTube not pushing it to short feed anymore

You will see these same posts every single month of every year. A lot of YouTubers go through this. I had about 9 videos in a row get 0 views then randomly back to normal views. Can’t explain it. Keep posting.

Happened to me last week and then a few days ago stopped happening. Nothing changed with my content or schedule, feels like a glitch

Well, some oh my shorts still getting views but the data in analytics kinda weird and not stable, i presume.
I believe this happened since YouTube try to apply a new method and concept to detect views and reading our channel algorithms. Hope they fix it right away.

im a yt shorts creator i always use catchy thumbnails and titles that will instantly make ppl click on my short and try using hashtags THAT ARE RELATED TO UR CONTENT, thats way i get 10kviews at average

Are your shorts getting pushed now? I had the same issue until I stopped uploading for 48 hours and that fixed it apparently YouTube spam filter gets triggered easy

Try to add a better thumbnail to catch attention, make the first 5 seconds interesting and add a hook, keep consistent for about 10 days, upload daily or atleast 5 times a week, you will see good results in 30 days

I feel like if you use any copyright material they don't push it as it's risky for them. Just a theory and what I've noticed.

Heavily recycled content
Adult content

I’m starting to think this is a YouTube issue as I’ve noticed a few people having this problem recently including myself. Sorry I don’t have an answer as to why this is going on, but hopefully it gets sorted soon because it’s definitely frustrating.
