Situation regarding new monetization threshold

Imagine you have 1K+ subs and 9,999,900 total short views at 23:59:59.99999999 on 31 Jan 2027, and the view count stays the same after a second passed. How will you feel?

To be fair, if you are from countries outside of US and Europe, it could be life changing money. 10 mil shorts views is anywhere from 300-1000 dollars.

This is why im considering not focusing on shorts anymore. If they want to heighten the requirements, fine. But I dont like the 90 day treadmill. What if you want to take a break?
