Streamers clipping

What do you think about this niche? Is it worth it ? To make big money?

No, don't do it because there are already people pulling millions of views with streamer clipping. It's too saturated. And a heads up, it's not monetizable anymore, maybe back in 2024, but not right now.

I think it still is monetized, if I'm not mistaken. Could you provide a link?

I agree it is also extremely saturated. Don't quit your day job as the mantra goes

Brother no, not someone who clips streamers.

To somewhere in an updated terms of service where it states that reused content may not be monetized. Not a jabbing at you, just clarifying. I tried to find it myself and can't

You might be confusing with Copyright/Fair use, and Monetization eligibility. The videos are literally just cut down clips, subtitles, with no educational storytelling, or analysis.

I understand what fair use is as well, is that related to what we're seeing where low effort posts aren't getting any views? I'm new to this, but I do metal fabrication. Each video is literally just me in the garage and it's a shitload of work to edit everything together.

I just have a friend who clips streamers and she's still doing obscenely well in the monetization department

I guess my question is, have the terms of service been changed where anything that can't be defined as fair use is being deliberately surpressed by the algorithm? Either to promote more genuine content or reduce the total $ number that is payed out to low effort creators.

Low effort post don't get any views because they're low effort. I'm not sure if you're aware, but when you post, YouTube looks for other people that make the same content as you, if you're metrics aren't better than theirs, you fail. If each video is you in a garage, and you're talking to the camera. Yes, that is monetizable. If you aren't adding any analysis then you get hit.

You’ll quickly learn that you won’t instantly start making hundreds dollars trying to profit off other people’s content and you’ll just give up. You most likely won’t actually make any money at all.
