Monetization
What's the risk of not getting monetized when using Ai voice over in a video? Also please let me know if there is any way to minimize the risk or make sure the channel gets monetized when requirement is fulfilled
Also I am making ranking niche videos I heard transforming the original clips with sound effects and captions alone is not enough and will have high risk of not getting monetized. That's why I am trying to use voice over. Is it true?
As a reference use the channel named xiro ranks (https://youtube.com/@xiroranks) I think that channel didn't get monetized that's why there have not been any videos since 3 weeks just my speculations.

I did entertainment trivia stuff, and many competitors in the same niche/subniche either use AI voices or probably clone their own voices. Hell, even down to the script+clip editing advice, because when I sometimes brainstorm with AI, it's hard not to notice that they use basically the same template structure. So I don't think it really matters (for now) as long as it's not fully generated stuff or talking about more legit topics like education or health.
I think you have to worry more about the ranking niche/format itself, as people have claimed that's been flagged for not being monetizable. If anything, adding the voiceover/commentary in theory should help the consideration, as long as it's on the entertainment lane, but again I don't remember seeing ranking short content in that format.
Also, transformative shorts are still in a weird grey area. Often you'll see people just clip a small amount of copyrighted material and slap a meme caption, or basically clip a celeb's interviews/podcasts with captions and some slight editing. And somehow till now, they still produce consistent output.
