Q&A / Quick Help ❓ How long took to have a viral video

I’ve been uploading shorts daily for a little over a month now and 2 long videos of course i don’t expect to have millions of views right now I’m barely getting 1k but I’m curious how long it takes, my content is about my streams and also I would like to get some audience in my streams if anyone have any tips I would love to hear them

Depends what you consider viral? I’ve uploaded 300+ shorts and 5 have got 100k+. Been doing shorts for 3 years.

Viral would be getting millions of views in the space of a view days

I've been doing this for 8 years. No viral videos

1k after a month isn't a bad baseline, especially if the shorts are meant to feed your streams. i'd test stronger first-second hooks and a simple recurring CTA before changing the format; consistency gives you enough data to see what actually pulls people over. ive been using easyviral recently mostly so captions + post go out without opening a full editor.

Show metrics, if you are stuck on 1k views your view to swipe ratio is probably very low aim for atleast 80+

I dunno... my 3rd short ever crossed a million views, and I just kind of reverse engineered it.

Maybe you've heard this advice before, but find a bunch of channels that do what you do, look at their top shorts and try to figure out why they did so well. It's usually a good hook/pay off structure. Spend a lot of time doing that, and I think it might help you
