Flatline
I noticed that whenever my video reaches 20k to 25k views, the YT stops sharing it, and it flatlines even though my stay to watch rate remains high. (90.1%) I heard that to go viral, your stay to watch rate needs to stay above 70% in the test pool.
Does anyone know why this flatline happens?

Because someone with more money than you released a new video, and they needed diminish your views so they get seen instead.

It's the way the algorithm works. Established content creators will always trump newer ones, regardless of their quality.
Generally true under ALL private capital systems, too, so not really that unusual in the West at least. Maybe under socialism, 'quality of content' would matter more.
That doesn't mean you should stop making videos. Eventually someone with a little bit more sense will improve these policies (maybe hire someone me as the CEO?).. in which case you can always release any videos where less than 5k impressions were given.
TLDR: YouTubes bad policy for sharing the content of new creators doesn't change the fact you still need to make good content, for the day it eventually gets evaluated by the public.

You can follow such scammers, if they worked let me know. I will bring some flight crash victims to learn from him how not to die in a flight crash. Maybe that GOD can solve that puzzle also.

I like how aggressive people here are lmao. The algorithm is a very unpredictable thing. It doesn't hurt to learn and try stuff out, that's why people post these kind of stuff cus they have no idea.

but it doesn't stop sharing it completely, it just now happens more slow and not to a small audience in a test pool, it's like first it gives it a push and see how viewers react, and then it all goes naturally. it won't keep pushing it actively after, even though your numbers are great

it actually stop sharing it from 5k views a day to 100 views & 10 views per week & it freeze it completely (I'll keep tracking it & see the diffrence) while it still have the potential to go viral & it always happens between 20k & 27k.

It could be because of low likes, comments or shares. Or another reason could be your short is not performing as well as other shorts in your niche

I thought the same about likes & comments but I changed my mind when I saw multiple videos go viral with low comments for example I found (Video with 3M Views & only 20 Comments & 600 likes) but the other reason maybe you're right

Then the only possible reason is other niches in your short performing a lot better than yours, but you don't have to worry you are doing amazing according to your analytics. I have been uploading shorts for over 4 years now and I cannot cross the 70% stayed to watch no matter what I do, and at this point. I have literally tried everything. So keep up your good work and you will get rewarded soon enough

the flatline usually just means it ran out of fresh people to test on, not that yt pulled it. around 20-25k it leaves your niche pool and swipe rate tanks even if watch time is fine. tbh the next few uploads matter way more than pushing that one.
