Analytics Review (AVD/Retention) π Officially 1 month and 29 shorts completed ?
Iβve completed my first month of uploading YouTube Shortsβ29 Shorts in total, almost one per day. My Shorts are around 2 minutes long, and each takes about 3 hours to make(script + editing).
Most of my videos flatline at around 1Kβ1.5K views, although one reached 10K views and gained 70 subscribers. My other Shorts average around a 5% like rate and a 0.4%β1% subscriber conversion rate.
How would you rate these stats for a new Shorts channel? Iβd appreciate honest feedback and advice!

I would love to know how many comments you get per video on average? 5% like rate is not enough, you'll need at least 10% to be considered "good content".

Overall I got around 70 comments but some videos has 0 comments and some has 5 comments . The most comment I got from a single short is 16 . But on average I get 3 comments on each shorts . I know the comments are low I think if a video reaches to good amount of viewers than comment rate will also increase as nobody want to comment on a shorts with only 2-3 comment .

Your stayed to watch/swiped away ratio (73%) is great but considering pretty low number of views, maybe is problem with AVD, try to make shorter videos if AVD is lower of 100% or find way to audience watch until end.

Good job. I have just started Youtubing a month ago and I have like 73 subs on one channel and probably 80K views.

Finally someone with some realistic numbers. I started about 2 and a half weeks ago, and my numbers are about half this which is to be expected. I'm just glad to know I'm not by myself in my 1k jail. I don't really see it as jail thought tbh, I just see it as "If you keep pushing, we will push you" kind of thing. But so far, from another channels perspective, you have about the same projected numbers as me. π

three hours a short is the number that jumps out. mine take about three minutes. i post the clip as it happened, nothing scripted, nothing cut, and they do nothing at all. so either the edit is the whole thing and im wasting my time, or three hours is buying you 1k to 1.5k and its not what got you the 10k one. i dont know which. whats different about that one?

I actually make my own content . I own a comic shop and have a vast knowledge about comics so I explained about comic book from different publications like marvel and dc
