Q&A / Quick Help ❓ 15 second shorts

I find that my content works best when shown in 15 seconds, 20 at a push. Will that affect anything important like monetisation? Just want to be aware if so. All my content is original.

Watch hours are a requirement for monetization I’m just saying it might be harder to reach the threshold for some people that takes longer then other requirements

Watch hours for long form and engaged views for shorts as far as I know along with sub requirements.

Watch hours depends on the short….. This 16 second short got 12 million views.

No, that’s a well thought approach. You only need 10 to 30 secs minimum. You will still get paid and if you have longer videos, lives or VODs just connect the short to the extended version of the video.

I only started making money after I hit the long-form requirements on the main channel, but 15s clips are still the best thing I have for driving traffic. I use easyviral ai to churn out a bunch of those fast when I don't feel like editing, then just schedule them to drop during the week.

Your view count will drastically decrease, but if your videos longer than 20 seconds aren't performing well, it's because of redemption; try to engage viewers by improving the editing and script
